Yes, typically stork signs installations require a lawn or yard for placement. Stork signs are typically installed in the front yard or near the entrance of a home to make a visible and celebratory announcement of a new baby’s arrival. The stork sign is usually placed on the ground using stakes or other means to secure it in the lawn. If you do not have a lawn or yard, please call us to discuss alternative installation options including the purchase of a keepsake bundle to be displayed on your front door.

Q: How early should I reserve a stork?

Birth Announcement:
A stork can be ordered immediately after the baby’s arrival. The stork will be delivered within 24 hours of rental. We do not take orders in advance of the baby’s arrival.
Sip and See/Baby Shower:
A stork can be ordered up to 3 weeks in advance of the event. The stork will be delivered anytime 8:00 am or after on the morning of the event and retrieved at the renter’s discretion not exceeding 6 hours in duration.
Deliveries will take place during regular business hours
and within 24 hours of rental.

Q: What is the duration of a stork rental?

We rent our birth announcement signs for a week. The personalized bundle, sibling, star, and pet signs are left behind at the end of the rental period and are yours to keep. You can rent our Stork signs for events like Baby Showers or Sip & Sees for 6 hours max.

Q: How much are sibling/message stars/dog bones and cat signs?

The personalized sibling and pet signs, featuring dogs and/or cats, are available for an additional cost of $25 each as an add-on to a stork rental and will be yours to keep.

Q: What service do you offer for twins, triplets, and quadruplets?

We offer a separate stork sign for each baby to celebrate the arrival of twins, triplets, and quadruplets! These signs are designed to commemorate the joyous occasion of multiple births and make a unique and memorable announcement to the world.

Q: What Signs do you offer for proud grandparents?

There are several options for grandparents wishing to celebrate their new arrival. We offer 6ft stork signs in pink and blue with general text ex. Proud Grandparent to be displayed for 7 days. Grandparents can also purchase a keepsake bundle to be displayed on their front door.

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?

While Storks and Celebration Signs has a no-cancelation policy, we understand the sensitive nature of welcoming a child and will make a determination on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What is your service area? Do you install yard stork signs on commercial properties?

We serve Clinton County, Highland County, Warren County, Greene County, Fayette County, Hamilton County (partly), Montgomery County (partly), Wilmington, Hillsboro, Blanchester, Sabina, New Vienna, Washington Court House, Lebanon, Loveland, Monroe, Xenia, Beavercreek, Kettering, Springboro, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fayetteville, Yellow Springs.

We are unable to set up our baby stork signs in front of commercial apartment complexes, condos, or commercial buildings. However, we do offer yard sign installations for townhouses, as long as there is a lawn or yard area available for homeowners or tenants to use. We want to ensure that our stork signs are placed in appropriate locations that comply with local regulations and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved. Please contact us for more information and to discuss specific installation options for your townhouse or residential location.

Is delivery contactless?

Yes, all stork deliveries and pickups are made without contact with the new parents unless otherwise instructed.

Q: How much does the birth announcement yard sign cost? Will there be a delivery fee?

A Birth Announcement Stork Sign rental for 7 days costs $90.

Delivery locations included all of Clinton County including Wilmington, Sabina, New Vienna, and Blanchester.

Other locations within our delivery area include Beavercreek, Centerville, Hillsboro, Jamestown, Kettering, Landon, Lebanon, Leesburg, Loveland, Lynchburg, Maineville, Miamisburg, Morrow, Springboro, Washington CH, and Yellow Springs.

Q: Where will you install the new baby sign in the yard?

We’ll carefully select the perfect spot in your yard for our stork sign, making sure it’s visible from the road and ideal for capturing beautiful pictures. If you have a specific spot in mind, feel free to let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Please keep in mind that sometimes, due to landscaping, bedrock, tree roots, or other obstacles, it may not be possible to place the sign exactly where you want. In such cases, we’ll use our best judgment to choose an alternate spot that still ensures maximum visibility and impact for your special announcement. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’ll strive to make sure you’re thrilled with the placement of our stork signs in your yard!
